It was always going to happen ...
The message that I received from BusinessDesk last Wednesday began, “I’m sure you probably expected this to happen by now …” and to be fair to the journalist, Daniel Dunkley, it didn’t come as a surprise. The article which appeared on Thursday was, for the most part, a straightforward run-through of my professional biography, and confirmed what you already knew - that I was a commercial lawyer who has spent much of his career in London.
